"My hope is that these books not only inspire kids, But also serve as a reminder that our police officers who run towards danger when we are afraid, who answer our call when we are in distress, who take the time to deposit good into our future generations and who truly believe in and live up to their oath to serve and protect and honor the badge, have purpose. May the bond that connects our police officers to our community be reinforced with faith, hope and love enough to heal...because love conquers all."
~Pamula Renee Handsborough.
Officer B and Me, which is Pamula's first, published, children's book was inspired by an officer who helped to make sure a spunky little kindergartner never lost her love for learning.
Her second book, Be Bully Free with Officer B, came to life when she talked with her niece who was being bullied in elementary school.

Be Kind Crew, which is the third book in this series, was written and published during the summer of 2020 with the help of her ten year old twin niece and nephew. It was driven by her nephew's desire to have a book written about him. the inspiration came from a middle school kindness club that sought to create a kinder, more positive school climate in which students could learn.
